Step 1 : Booking
Once you’re ready to book, e-mail know and I will send you a booking proposal. This includes a contract, invoice for the session fee, and a questionnaire to help plan your session. With newborn sessions, I pencil in your date on my calendar, and we don’t decide on a date and time until you are home with your new bundle.
The session fee for newborn sessions is 690, which includes a 500 credit to use towards your order. This covers a planning consultation, the 3 - 4 hour newborn session, complimentary hair and makeup, wardrobe, styling, and the viewing and ordering appointment.
Step 2 : planning + Consultation
A lot of clients like to come into the studio so they can choose their props and outfits, and know what to expect on the day of the session. It’s also a great time to see some of the products I offer, so you can start thinking about how you’d like to display your images in your home. I always welcome a studio visit, but if you’d rather a phone call to finalize all the plans for your session that is fine too!
Step 3 : The session
Before the session you’ll receive an e-mail with some easy to follow instructions on how to prepare for your session. Then all you need to do is show up and I’ll take over from there! The session is full service, with snacks, coffee, and beverages, and I often have parents take naps on the couch. I’ll handle any messes your little one makes, bottle feeding if you’re comfortable with that, so you can really just relax.
Step 4 : viewing & Ordering appointment
Roughly 2 weeks later, you’ll return to my studio for a viewing and ordering appointment. This is where we’ll go through the images together on a big screen tv, pick your favorites, and choose what products are best for your family.
Step 5 : Product delivery
Once all the products are in, I will deliver them right to you. If you have ordered any wall art, I am happy to hang the wall art for you so you can start enjoying it immediately, and not worry about installing it properly.
A little behind the scenes of the making of one of my favorite images!
